授業概要
この授業では、英語ディベートを通じてSDGsに関連する諸課題(貧困、飢餓、健康、教育、ジェンダー、公衆衛生、エネルギー、経済成長、技術革新、不平等、開発、都市計画、気候変動、環境、平和、公正、ガバナンス)を議論します。ディベート形式で行うので、肯定側、否定側に分かれてそれぞれの論点をめぐって議論を行うので、幅広い視点、立場からSDGsの問題を考えることができます。また、英語ディベートを行うことで、英語だけでなく、SDGsや国際問題についての知識・知見、論理的思考能力、批判的思考能力、分析力、問題解決能力などが修得できます。
In this class, we will discuss various issues related to the SDGs (poverty, hunger, health, education, gender, public health, energy, economic growth, technological innovation, inequality, development, urban planning, climate change, environment, peace, justice, governance) through English debates. Participants will be divided into positive and negative sides and debate over the respective issues, allowing them to consider SDG issues from a wide range of perspectives and positions. In addition, by debating in English, students will acquire not only English language skills, but also knowledge and knowledge about the SDGs and international issues, logical thinking skills, critical thinking skills, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
