Participants are required to have a minimum of Advanced Teaching assistant (ATA status). 
授業概要
 
This course is intended to improve Teaching Assistant, Advanced Teaching Assistant, and Teaching Fellows' confidence in supporting language classes. The course will focus on TEFL/TESOL at a (high) intermediate level, meaning the concepts of course design, teaching methodology, test design, and grading methodology will be covered. The students who take this course are intended to join and assist reformed 2023 classes with a greater focus on oral communication, meaning this form of language teaching will be emphasized.

(内容)
The course will be taught in a hybrid-style.
The course schedule will be:
- self-access video lessons will be available week-by-week through Moodle, to be completed at your convenience
- OneDrive materials for lesson tasks and homework
- 2 lessons in class at a mutually convenient time for the mid-quarter and final tests

Classes will be held primarily online.

Students are expected to attend in-person evaluation sessions. 
テキスト
Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) has a long background, and as such there are many materials that can be employed to teach and practice this process. This course requires no textbook but the material covered will be varied and in-depth. Students are expected to attend every class and participate actively having completed the required reading material. 
参考書
Materials will be made available through Moodle.

There is no required textbook for this course.
