授業概要

|
眼で受け取られた光情報がどのように、神経系で処理され、知覚や認知に結びつくかを理解することを目標とします。また、感情生理心理学との読替のため、情動や感情の神経メカニズムについても学びます。学生自らが関連する論文を読み、議論を通じて理解していくことを促します。講義は国際コースの学生がいる場合は日本語と英語を併用します。

This course aims to understand how light stimuli received by the eyes are transformed into perception and recognition through visual information processing in the brain. We also learn the basics of emotions and feelings and their neural mechanisms. Students are required to read research articles related to topics in the course and are encouraged to discuss the details of the topics. This course will be taught in Japanese and English if international students who prefer English attend.

|
The first class of the day is mainly texted-based lectures. In the second class of the day, student conduct a literature survey using keywords introduced in the first class. On the final day, student introduce one paper related to the contents of this course.

各授業日１限目に、参考書『Cognitive Neuroscience』の内容に沿った講義を受けた後、関連するキーワードを用いて文献検索をしていただき、2限目の最後にその概要をグループの中で紹介します。
最後の７日目は、各自がこれまでに最も興味を持った研究について、全体に紹介します。
