授業概要

この授業では，様々なスケールから現象を捉え，自然環境および社会環境を学際的視点から総合的に理解する地理学的思考を基にして，学術研究の展開過程を学ぶ。扱う内容は自然地理学から人文地理学に至る広い範囲とし，防災に関する分野も含む。授業は主に受講者の発表や討論，実習で構成する。まず，受講者が対象とする地理学のテーマを選び，研究事例となる文献を探る。その上で論理構成・研究方法・考察の進め方等を学び，発表を行う。また，地理学の基礎的な技術習得を目的とした実習を行う。これらを通して地理学的研究方法の習得を目指す。

In this course, students will capture phenomena from various scales, and study the developmental process of academic research based on geographical methods thought comprehensively understand the natural and social environment from an interdisciplinary perspective. The contents to be dealt with cover a wide range from physical geography to human geography, and also include fields related to disaster prevention. The course will be mainly composed of participating students' presentations and discussions, and technical practices. First, students will choose a theme for the target geography, and explore literature which can serve as study cases. After that, they will learn about logical constitutions, research methods, and how to advance considerations, and then make presentations. Besides, students will practice the basic technique of geographical analysis. Through these processes, students will aim to acquire geographical research methods.

|
授業は，先行研究を読み込む能力向上を目的とした論文講読と，地理環境を調査・解析するための基礎技術習得を目的とした実習から構成される。論文の読み込みや作図など，授業時間外の自主学習が必要となる。なお、実習では，対象地域を設定し，地形図判読，空中写真判読，土地利用図作成，GISによる地図作成，ドローン空中写真撮影などを行う予定である。実習では，野外で調査実習を行う場合がある。
This class aims to improve the ability to read scientific papers, and to train the techniques to survey and analyze geographical environment. Therefore, students will conduct literature readings and technical practices. Besides, students will need homeworks over the time allocations of this class. In technical practiecs, we plan to learn how to read topographic map, making land utilization map, operating GIS software, taking drone photos etc. We have plan to conduct excursion or fieldwork in outside.

・九州大学の方針に従い、本コースもオンライン開講となりますが、夏学期初回（7月1日）からオンライン会議システムで毎週開講する方針です。This lecture will be performed online according to the policy of Kyushu University. We'll have online class every week from 1st July, not ondemand style.
・オンライン会議室の入口は、当日までに本コースの各セクションに張り付けておきます。また、初回の前にはMoodleの一斉メールで連絡します。 The entrance URL will be attached each section on this Moodle course. Before the first class, we'll inform by email through Moodle.
・重要：7月15日（水）5限にキャンパス内で野外実習を行う予定です（共創学部教務委員会で、感染対策を講じた上で実施することが承認されました）。参加できない方がいらっしゃることは想定していますので、出席は単位の要件には含めず、内容についてはオンラインで把握できるようにいたします。On 15th July, we'll have fieldwork inside the campus (Faculty admitted this fieldwork with some conditions). We understand not all stududents can participate this class, so it's not include in evaluation of this course.
