授業概要
高性能であればあるほど製品が売れる、とは限らない。顧客の今の要望に合わせてばかりでは革新的なイノベーションに手をつけられない。市場に受け入れられる性能、価格等を適切にバランスさせて初めて売れる商品となり、その上で“市場の半歩先”を行くことで初めて新たな市場を切り拓くことができる。

本講座では、仏国の名門ビジネススクールINSEADで開発された経営シミュレーションゲームを用いて、製品開発から販路の選択、価格の決定、人事配置、広告戦略等にわたる多彩な意思決定スキルをグループワークを通して実践的に習得することを学習目標におく。 
* This course will be run entirely in English.

This course provides an authentic, competitive environment wherein students engage in a management simulation game named MarkStrat. MarkStrat has been developed at INSEAD, a renowned business school in France, and used for management skills training at a variety of enterprises and universities across the world.

Through the experience of playing MarkStrat and reflecting over those experiences, as well as lectures and workshops organized by the course instructor, students will learn how to use data to find market insights, work collaboratively in a small-group setting, and make decisions effectively.

Students should be able to understand instructions, read a lot of information in a relatively short period, and engage in heated discussion in a small-group setting in English.

Students are supposed to bring their own device to play MarkStrat, which works on cloud; this means that students should bring notebook or tablet PC that connects with the Internet.
