授業概要
1. Basic science and state-of-the-art technologies on liquid crystal display will be given. (Kikuchi)
2. Science and technology of supramolecules and supramolecular materials using host-guest chemistry.(Okumura)
3. Organic electronic devices such as organic light emitting diodes and organic photovoltaic cells are attracting much attention due to the flexible nature and great potential for extremely low-cost production by prinding technology. In this class, the basic mechanism and materials will be given briefly.(Fujita)
4. In this section, we give lessons about basic structure and property, fundamental synthetic method, and applications (battery, capacitor and CFRP) of the functional carbons.(Yoon)
5. Nowadays, Li-ion battery is the most important rechargeable battery in telecom and car industries, because of the highest energy density and long cyclability. The academic aspects of the rechargeable reaction mechanism and the research trend of post Li-ion battery will be introduced.(Okada)
6. Conversion of carbon resources such as coal and biomass into gases (gasification) is introduced with its social/industrial background, process configuration/integration and thermal/catalytic chemistry.(Hayashi)
