授業科目の目的・目標・履修条件について
授業科目の目的（日本語）		この授業は、リーディングとリスニングのための受信スキルを向上させることを目的とする。様々な文書や情報を処理し評価することは学術的活動において不可欠であるため、この授業では、様々なタイプの活動を通して、リーディングとリスニングの実践的なストラテジーを学ぶ。
授業科目の目的（英語）		This course is designed to help students develop communicative skills as well as to improve students’ receptive skills for reading and listening comprehension. Since processing and evaluating various documents and information is essential for academic activities, this course offers practical reading and listening strategies through various types of activities.

授業科目の成績評価の方法について
備考		ChatGPTなどの生成型・対話型AIの使用についての注意 生成型・対話型と呼ばれるAIは使い方によっては有用ですが、学業での使用には 十分な注意が必要です。そういったAIの生成する答えには一見それらしいけれど も不正確な情報が多くあります。十分な検証をせずに利用すれば、劣悪な解答や レポートになってしまいます。また、九州大学では他人の文章をコピーし自分の ものとすることは、学術不正として厳しく禁止されています。ChatGPT等を単純 利用（コピペ）して作成したレポートは他人の文章をコピーしたものと認定され ることもあり得ます。特に外国語科目においては、AIの解答を丸写しするだけで は、何ら学習効果は得られません。 Warning regarding the use of generative/conversational AI such as ChatGPT Generative/conversational AI is potentially a useful tool in your study but its use in course work needs special care. Such AI often generates plausible but incorrect information, which leads to a poor work if you do not critically evaluate AI-generated texts. Ethically, copying someone else's writing and making it your own is strictly prohibited as academic misconduct at Kyushu University. A report created by simply using a tool such as ChatGPT (copying and pasting) may be recognized as copying someone else's writing. Especially in foreign language courses, you will not learn anything by copying AI-generated answers.
