授業概要

|
エネルギーと地球温暖化の観点から、二酸化炭素の重要性を論じます。二酸化炭素の排出量、気候への影響、緩和戦略について説明する。膜分離、圧力スイング吸着、地中貯留などの炭素回収・貯留(CCS)の概念を紹介する。炭素回収・利用(CCU)の分野については、産業用化学原料や発泡性飲料への利用を含めて議論します。光触媒によるCO2変換、電気化学によるCO2変換など、いくつかのCO2利用事例を紹介する。

We will discuss the importance of carbon dioxide in the context of energy and global warming. We will explain CO2 emissions, their impact on the climate, and mitigation strategies. We will introduce the concepts of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), including membrane separation, pressure swing adsorption, and geological storage. We will discuss the field of Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU), including use in chemical feedstocks for industry, and even fizzy drinks. We will introduce several CO2 utilization case studies including photocatalytic CO2 conversion and electrochemical CO2 conversion.
